Biography
Conor Gomez is an Actor looking to expand his career in professional film, television and theatre productions. Conor was born on February 13th at Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe-Claire Quebec, Canada. But before he turned 9-years-old he moved to Mississauga, Ontario - Meadowvale to be precise. Towards the end of high school Conor started to get involved with a friends theatre company, Over the Edge Theatre Productions- he first performed on stage as 'Billy Bibbit' in 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'. In the few years that followed Conor continued to Act in plays. He played the part of Andrew in 'Beyond Therapy' and played 'Mark' in two productions of 'Popular', Over the Edge Theatre Productions original play. In between the plays, school and other life practices of being a teenager, Conor started acting in some short films and he even played a small part in the Independent Feature Film 'Sons of Shadow', directed by Tyler Williams. In Early January 2007 Conor packed his two bags and boarded a plane in Mississauga, Ontario destined for Los Angeles, California- a bit cliche. Conor enrolled himself in the 2 year Meisner Technique acting program at the Joanne Baron/DW Brown Acting Studio in Santa Monica. Conor's time in LA was mainly focused on his various classes, but he still found the time to act in short films and even a couple Sci Fi channel feature films. He also began collaborating with Dustin Harnish, a talented actor and his good friend- the two began writing/directing their own Sketch Comedy for YouTube. Upon graduating from the Baron/Brown Studio's in late 2008 Conor had to return back to Canada, except he decided to stay on the west coast and landed in Vancouver, British Columbia. Since being in Vancouver Conor has tried to act in anything he can get his hands on. He made his first film within weeks of arriving in town, he was cast by Graham/Nelson Talbot in their winter western 'The Big Draw'. While making the Big Draw he also met David McDonald. Conor has since continued to work with the three talented, award winning film makers on a variety of projects ranging from commercials and film to sketch comedy. In 2010 Conor played 'Jan Warwick' in the Metro Theatres Production of Agatha Christie's 'The Unexpected Guest'. Conor is always eager to find new projects and talented people to not only work with, but to learn from. Recently he became involved with the award winning sketch comedy youtube channel MegaSteackMan (with over 9,000,000 views) and has acted in several of their productions.
