Biography
Sil Iizuka is an Asian-Latina actress most known for her role as Bia in Brazil's internationally acclaimed soap opera, 'Chiquititas', now available on Netflix Brazil. Born in São Paulo to a Japanese father and a Brazilian mother, Iizuka (previously known as Silmara Volpi) started her career performing in church productions later graduating from the Ewerton de Castro Acting School. She holds a diploma in Social Communication obtained from Casper Libero College. Iizuka made her acting debut in 2011 starring in 'Aguasala'. Following a series of award-winning projects, her performance on HBO's Telly-Award-Winning 'O Negócio' and 'Opala Azul Negão' in 2016 and 'Os Parças' in 2017 marked her as one of the most versatile and promising Brazilian actors. In the following year, she moved to Los Angeles where she appeared in numerous international productions such as 'Arrangement', available on Prime Video, and 'April's Fools', available on Roku.
